Visit and Activities
The exhibition sheds light on the history of Mount Royal, which Montrealers affectionately nickname “the mountain”. But how did our ancestors view this mountain? How have they inhabited it? Mount Royal has been a key witness to the evolution of the center of the island of Montreal for the past 5000 years. With our guides, discover the fascinating story of the city’s emblematic mountain. After the visit, immerse yourself in a creative activity to reflect on our relationship to nature in the city (elementary school) or immerse yourself in Mount Royal’s history and its accessibility over time with a debate activity (high school).
Lunch area – The Museum has a space for schools that wish to bring their lunch (max. 50 people). A reservation is necessary upon registration for an activity.
