Volunteers are at the heart of the action at the Musée des Hospitalières de l’Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal
Guides
Volunteer guides give guided tours, walking tours and pedagogical visits for school groups. They receive training and are occasionally present during special activities and events organized by the Museum (Journée des Musées, Journées de la culture, concerts, etc.).
Volunteer guides can be asked to fill in at the front desk as needed and during special events.
Retired Nurses
Retired nurses guide visits for nursing students. They receive training but their personal witness adds a human dimension to their visit.
