Access to the Museum is exclusively pedestrian due to construction on Pine Avenue. The Museum does not offer any parking spaces, except for people with reduced mobility (by reservation).

Information

Parking

Due to construction work on Pine Avenue, the Museum parking lot is no longer accessible. Only persons with reduced mobility will be able to access the Museum’s parking lot upon a reservation, by calling us before your visit at 514 849-2919.

If you wish to bring a vehicle to the Museum, the parking lot of the former Hôtel-Dieu de Montréal emergency room is open to individuals for a fee. Access to the parking lot is from Saint-Urbain Street.

Accessibility

The museum is accessible to people with reduced mobility and is certified by Kéroul. The main entrance includes an access ramp, and there is an elevator providing access to both floors of the museum.

A wheelchair is provided for visitor use. No reservations necessary; information at the reception desk.

The Museum’s parking lot is accessible upon reservation, by calling us at 514 849-2919 before your visit. Information regarding vehicular access to the Museum during the construction period on Pine Avenue will be sent to you.

The buildings of the Hospitallers’ convent complex are not accessible to persons with reduced mobility. Our guided tours of the crypt, the chapel, the monastery and the garden are not adapted for people with reduced mobility.

Admission to the museum is free on the first Sunday of each month. This measure is made possible by the Ministère de la Culture et des Communications du Québec. For Québec residents only.

We offer guided tours of the permanent exhibition and the current temporary exhibition, as well as educational tours.

 

Groups must be composed of a minimum of 8 people.
