Montreal hires American landscape architect Frederick Law Olmsted, creator of New York’s Central Park. Anglophones and French speakers built their main institutions, universities and hospitals, as well as St. Joseph’s Oratory, around the mountain.” Free translation of the synopsis from Paul Carvalho’s website.
