The garden is open!
Visits of the Hospitallers’ old monastery garden (now the Cité-des-Hospitalières) are back. This year, experience a multitude of experiences with historical, musical, and sensory activities!
Discover the Garden through Music
One Sunday per month from June to September, experience the garden through music. Offered in collaboration with Sérénité Sonore, the visit starts with a concert of songs from Hildegard von Bingen (1098-1179) interpreted by Rebecca Bain in the garden’s Immaculée-Conception chapel. The concert is followed by a historical visit of the garden.
Walk to the Rhythm of Nature
Did you know that Mount Royal Park was designed to improve Montrealers’ health? Come live different experiences in nature, first in the monastery garden and then on Mount Royal with the hike Exploration de la valeur thérapeutique de la montagne. The hike, offered in collaboration with Les amis de la montagne, intertwines history and a discovery of nature’s benefits.
