<\/div>\n THE CREATION OF THE CHUM<\/h2>\n The Centre hospitalier de l\u2019Universit\u00e9 de Montr\u00e9al (CHUM), founded in 1996, is the product of the fusion of the H\u00f4tel-Dieu, Notre-Dame hospital and Saint-Luc hospital. In 2017 the CHUM\u2019s new premises, uniting the three hospitals, opened in downtown Montreal. That same year, all the H\u00f4tel-Dieu\u2019s patients were transferred to the new mega-hospital.
