It was founded in 1920 under the name of l\u2019Association des gardes-malades enregistr\u00e9es de la province de Qu\u00e9bec. Over time the OIIQ changed the face of the nursing profession, both in terms of training and access to the practice. [\/vc_column_text][vc_empty_space height=&#8221;11px&#8221;]<\/p>\n<p>[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The exhibition was produced by the OIIQ to celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2020 and presents the Ordre\u2019s contribution through the century to the evolution of the nursing profession in Qu\u00e9bec, through documents, archive photos and nursing objects.
