[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]Discover the old Chapel of the Hospitali\u00e8res, erected between 1859 and 1861 by Victor Bourgeau in the heart of the convent complex of the Hospitali\u00e8res. On entering the chapel, you will not fail to notice the magnificent painted decoration of the dome executed by the German muralist John Held in 1861-1862. You can also admire the contemporary decor of designer Claude Th\u00e9berge, created in the 1960s.<\/p>\n

What ideal were they pursuing and why? The answers are found in a 17th century manuscript that would obviously be the hidden memoirs of Jeanne Mance. With an original and personal look, the filmmaker revisits this story where the past resonates with an ever-present desire to create a world closer to humanist values.<\/p>\n
