A Cappella Concert
Ave Maria Around the World
The Hospitallers Museum exclusively presents in Montreal the French ensemble ALLEGRI, who will be offering a worldly panorama of the Ave Maria hymn. The ensemble, conducted by Jean-Marie Puissant, who has performed internationally including with the Rolling Stones at the Stade de France, will present at the Hospitallers’ chapel the program “Ave Maria Around the World”, composed of a cappella pieces, prayers and homages to Mary, from the 19th century to the present. A musical journey that the 8 singers and their conductor are glad to share with the Quebecer public.

ALLEGRI ENSEMBLE
Born 12 years ago from Jean-Marie Puissant and Marion Deprey’s passion, the Allegri Soloist Ensemble has quite an atypical course. From operas in stables and the Rolling Stones’ concert to intimate recitals of sacred music in a Jordan orphanage, a Finnish chapel, a Tchek cathedral, and an Argentinian theater, it is before all else a story of friendship, passion, and an artistic and human adventure.
The singers: Marion Deprey & Marina Maireaux, soprano / Camille Mage & Angèle Meunier, alto / Nicolas Pattier & Damien Briand, tenor / Stéphane Candat & Christophe Sam, baritone.
