150th Anniversary of Mount Royal Park | Mont Royal’s Public Art Guided Tour | June 6
This tour invites you to explore the many public artworks located on Mount Royal, from the base of the mountain to one of its peaks. In collaboration with Art Public Montréal.

Chapel Open Doors Day | Sunday June 7
The chapel is open for free self-guided tours on the first Sunday of every month. You can go directly to the chapel at 209 Avenue des Pins West; no admission ticket is required.

Did you know that Mount Royal Park was designed to improve the health of Montrealers? Discover the vision of its designer, Frederick Law Olmsted, as well as the Monastery Garden of the Hospitalières, a jewel that is a part of the Mount Royal Heritage Site.
Lecture and Discussion: Preparing for a Good Death: The Religious Cornerstone of the Hôtels-Dieu | June 18
During this conference and discussion, moderated by Paul Labonne, curator of the Medicine and Charity exhibition and director of the Museum, historians Claire Garnier and Dominique Deslandres will examine the legacy and adaptations of the medieval Hôtel-Dieu model, which served as the basis for the first hospitals in New France.

Mont-Royal Park’s 150th Anniversary | Guided Garden Tour | Sundays, June 14 and 28
Discover what lies behind the iconic stone walls of Plateau-Mont-Royal, as well as the history of the Jardin des Hospitalières. From its origins as an agricultural land in 1861 to its current status as an ornamental garden, and including the history of the Hôtel-Dieu’s heritage buildings, this site is full of wonders.
From Apothecary to Herbalism | Sunday, June 21
Follow in the footsteps of the Pharmacist Nun and her medicinal herb garden, thanks to the museum’s magnificent collection of pharmaceutical artifacts. This exploration will then take you to the medicinal garden of the Herboressence collective, where members will introduce you to the therapeutic uses of plants during a hands-on workshop.
