Open-Door at the Chapel | Sunday May 4th

The chapel is open free of charge on the first Sunday of every month. You can come directly to the chapel at 209 Pine Ave W, no admission ticket necessary.

Opening hours: 10 am. to 5 pm.

An evening at the museum | Thursday May 15th

Every third Thursday of the month, the museum is open until 9 pm to let you visit our exhibits in the evening. Guided tours of the temporary exhibit are included when you buy an entry ticket.

Guided tour with the curator (French) | Thursday May 15th

Johanne Sloan, curator of Corpus insolite: Jana Sterbak, will offer many guided tours until the end of the exhibit. A great occasion to learn more about the exhibited artworks and the dialogue between contemporary art and historical objects which inspired the exhibit. This tour is offered freely to those who have already bought an entry ticket. Places are limited.

Time: 6 pm.

Musical Garden TourSunday May 18th

Enjoy a rejuvenating experience in the heart of Montreal with a stroll to the sound of Annabelle Renzo’s harp, followed by a guided tour of the Hospitallers’ experience in the garden. This activity is offered in collaboration with Sérénité Sonore.

Hike: Explore the therapeutic value of the mountain|Saturday May 24th

With Explore the therapeutic value of the mountain, which takes you from the monastery garden to the Camilien-Houde viewpoint, discover the legacy of the Hospitallers and the designer of Mount Royal Park, Frederick Law Olmsted, whose common goal was to improve the health of Montrealers. This activity is organized in collaboration with Les amis de la montagne.

From apothecary to herbalism | Sunday May 25th

Follow in the footsteps of the apothecary nun and her garden of simples, thanks to the museum’s collection of pharmaceutical objects. The tour then proceeds to the garden, where you’ll discover Herboressence and the collective’s medicinal garden, while its members will guide you through a discovery workshop on the uses of plants today.

Family Saturdays!|Saturday May 31st

Every last Saturday of the month, the museum offers themed activities depending on the temporary exhibit of the moment. They are adapted for the whole family to give everyone a chance to be amazed and to question their knowledge.
