Synopsis of the documentary La ville d’un rêve
Saturday september 9th 2023 and sunday september 10th 2023 at 1:30 pm
Montreal was born from a dream, of the people who believed in the possibility of creating a better world in New France. Who were these people? What ideal were they pursuing and why? The answers are found in a 17th century manuscript that would obviously be the hidden memoirs of Jeanne Mance. With an original and personal look, the filmmaker revisits this story where the past resonates with an ever-present desire to create a world closer to humanist values.
